Manufacturing Our Solar Cells
- Modern Solar only supply the highest quality monocrystalline solar cells which are cut from large single crystal ingots grown from molten silicone.
- The monocrystalline cells are joined together with solder on the front surface to provide electrical connection points using fine soldering methods.
- There are 72 individual cells in each Modern solar panel.
- A hardened glass cover , a polymer EVA sheet and a special back layer is added to provide strength and moisture protection to the panel which is laminated together to form the finished Solar panel.
- Modern solar panels are designed with a robust aluminium frame which is built around the panels for added protection and structural integrity.
